Rubbish Removal ‘Endeavour Bay’ – Cairns, Queensland

North Marine, in collaboration with Pacific Marine and Salvage, was contracted to remove and lawfully dispose of pollutants, harmful substances, and debris from the vessel ‘Endeavour Bay’ in Trinity Inlet, Cairns.

Scope of Work
The project, conducted under strict environmental and safety protocols, involved removing general waste, tyres, contaminated liquids, and batteries, while mitigating environmental risks and ensuring the safety of personnel with Queensland Police support. All debris was successfully removed within the allocated timeframe using a refined methodology to streamline the process.

The project was completed on time and within budget, with 28t of general waste, 7.5t of tyres, 41,000l of contaminated liquids, and 1.2t of batteries safely removed and disposed of, ensuring environmental compliance and effective collaboration with authorities.
