Cyclone ‘Jasper’, a severe tropical cyclone that struck Far North Queensland in December 2023, caused widespread damage across the Cairns region and several Cape communities. ‘Jasper’ brought destructive winds, heavy rainfall, and flooding, leaving many areas in urgent need of support.

Scope of Work

In response, North Marine stepped in to provide critical emergency freight services, delivering essential supplies to affected communities in the aftermath.

This response highlighted North Marine’s reliability and commitment to supporting community resilience and recovery during natural disasters.
